Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) and the other Fire and Rescue Authorities (FRAs) in the South East have come together to create the South East Fire Improvement Partnership.

Partnerships - a guide to good practice One of the pieces of work this group has produced is a best practice guide to partnerships. To access this document please click on the link below.

The role of partnerships and partnership working is becoming increasingly important to FRAs. They can be a more productive way of achieving aims and objectives whilst making better use of resources. A number of factors should be considered before entering a partnership however; these are discussed in the document.

Partnerships and partnership working can be traditional or original, formal or informal on a small or large scale. For examples of best practice and the types of partnerships that FRAs have been involved in please refer to the document below.

Although Partnerships: A Guide to Best Practice in the South East is available through KFRS's website it is the work of all partners in the South East Fire Impovement Partnership. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution.
