I am delighted that everything you need to know about keeping safe at home and at work can now be accessed on-line at your convenience!

Charlie Hendry - Chief Executive and Chief Fire Officer
We are still available, of course, to give you help or advice on the telephone or face to face and firefighters are continuing proactive community fire safety work in their local neighbourhoods.
Our website is playing an increasingly important role in helping to get our messages across to everyone living in Kent and Medway but particularly young people. As you will see, we have come up with some innovative ways of doing this through our 'play and learn' kids' section. Educating children about fire safety is at the heart of our fire prevention work.
There is also information about sprinkler systems, including a video showing how effectively a sprinkler system can put out a fire. We hope this information will help further our campaign to increase the number of sprinkler systems in the homes of those most at risk from fire.
You will also find a wealth of other information on our website, from information about Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority committee meetings to plans and policies and the latest news.
I am proud that Kent Fire and Rescue Service is part of Kent Connects - a partnership that has enabled us, through the Government's Invest to Save Budget programme, to increase the amount of life-saving information on our website.
