Fire at amusement arcade
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has been tackling a major blaze at an amusement arcade in Margate this evening.
At the height of the fire, 10 pumps and around 60 firefighters were sent to Tivoli Entertainment on the seafront after KFRS control room operators received the first call at 5.20pm.
Crews wore breathing apparatus to check the four-storey building after initial reports that people may have been inside but KFRS can now confirm that no-one was trapped or hurt in the incident.
The blaze started on the ground floor and was extinguished by 6.45pm. The cause is being investigated.
