Channel Tunnel fire update 2
Firefighting operations are continuing at the Channel Tunnel this evening.
Control room operators received a call to reports an incident at the site at 14:57.
Twelve appliances are currently at the scene and crews are working with their French counterparts.
A number of passengers were evacuated on an HGV train, all persons were accounted for although a small number of people have been treated for smoke inhalation.
