Channel Tunnel interview
Over 100 firefighters are continuing to tackle a blaze at the Channel Tunnel this evening.
Control room operators received a call to reports an incident at the site at 14:57 this afternoon.
More than twenty appliances are now at the scene and crews are continuing to work with their French counterparts.
NOTE TO MEDIA: Kent Fire and Rescue Service Chief Fire Officer Bill Feeley will give interviews at 10.30pm at Eurotunnel’s Longport offices on the A20.
