Review and Revise Your Fire Risk Assessment

New machines, substances and procedures can lead to new hazards, or the elimination of old ones. To make sure the continuing safety of your staff and workplace in the event of a fire it is important to review your assessment

Your risk assessment is ongoing and must be monitored and audited. If you introduce new equipment or processes to your workplace, add them to your assessment to take account of any new hazards. But you don't have to amend your assessment for every trivial change that occurs.
