Opportunities
Every year we offer work experience placements for students who are interested in the work of media, IT human resource, finance and general administration.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer placement on fire stations because of health and safety requirements. However, our Training Centre and Community Safety teams will support work experience for young people who are interested in becoming a firefighter. Most of our work placements are in the Maidstone area.
How do I apply for a placement?

- If you are in Secondary Education, please ask your school work experience co-ordinator/business education partnership adviser to make contact with us.
- If you are an Further Education, please ask your college tutor to make initial contact with us on your behalf.
- As we can only offer a limited number of work experience placements each year we are unable to accept personal requests or applications.
Applications for work experience placements in 2008 must be received by the 21st December 2007.
