Assistant Director of Finance
Alison has overall responsibility for the finance section which consists of three teams: Corporate Finance, Exchequer Services and Insurance and Risk Management.
Corporate Finance is responsible for all aspects of budgeting and costing including the production of the Authority's Statement of Accounts and the development of the annual budget and Medium Term Financial Plan.
Exchequer Services is responsible for processing a wide range of financial documents which include invoices from suppliers, customer invoices, purchasing card statements, employee expense claims, banking transactions, VAT and tax.
Insurance and Risk Management is responsible for arranging insurance, processing claims and introducing risk management measures. They are also responsible for internal audit, anti-fraud and corruption, and licence checks.
