Kent Fire and Rescue Service is committed to providing services

well-trained professional staff, and an open culture which values
diversity and equality of opportunity in employment. How we
achieve this is set out in Our Equality
Vision and Objectives 2013/16, which has been revised to
take account of the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
Our approach:
Meeting the needs of different groups who share protected

Recognising that different groups of people have different
needs, we try to ensure that we identify any specific requirements
or risk factors and address these in our operational work and
within the workplace.
