Director of Operational Policy and Resilience
Steve leads on all operational aspects of the service
deployment, from general firefighting and rescue duties to
emergency planning, major incidents and protecting the Channel
Tunnel.
Steve is supported by an assistant director: Paul Flaherty, Assistant Director
of Planning and Development, and four areas managers - Graham
Gash (Channel Tunnel), Steve Jeffrey (Operational Response
Planning), Andy Merriman (Operational Response) and Chris Colgan
(Head of Operational Services).
