Emergency SMS text service
Available via your mobile phone's text message (SMS) system,
this service allows D/deaf people (or those with any
other additional need that makes the phone difficult to use)
to report fire or rescue emergencies.
Send a text message with the beginning with the word
RESCUE to 60066, along with
details of the emergency, including the location and your name.
Your message will be routed through to fire control operators
who will deal with your report and provide advice and
reassurance.
