Welcome to the Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue
Authority section of the website.
This includes information about how the Authority conducts its
business, our Members and the agendas and minutes of the Authority
and our committees.
I am very proud to be Chairman of the Kent and Medway Fire and
Rescue Authority. As one of the top performing fire
authorities in the country we are continuing to work hard to make
our local communities safer places to live and work.
We aim to deliver as efficient and economical
a service as possible while maintaining the quality service that
the people of Kent and Medway want and deserve. This means
supporting Kent Fire and Rescue Service to deliver a
round-the-clock, 365 days a year service for fires, rescues,
floods, road traffic collisions and other emergencies.
Community and business safety is also a top
priority. That is why we are pleased to have the opportunity
to work not only with local businesses but also with partners such
as Kent County Council, Medway Council, local District Councils,
Kent Police, and Clean Kent to spread awareness of fire and road
safety.
