Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a lorry trailer alight on the A2 in Boughton under Blean, Faversham.
Three fire engines attended the London-bound carriageway between Harbledown and Brenley Corner, where crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames with a hose reel jet.
No injuries were reported and the cause is not known.
