Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle alight on the A2 Coastbound, near the Dartford bypass.
Four fire engines, a telehander, and a bulk water carrier attended.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet and foam.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not known.
