Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a lorry alight on the A249 Detling Hill, Maidstone-bound, Maidstone. Two fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended, and crews tackled the fire using compressed air foam and a hose reel jet. There were no reported casualties.
