Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of lorry fire on the M20, coastbound, near junction 8, Maidstone.
One fire engine attended, and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported, and it is believed to have started due to an electrical fault.
