Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a barn alight in Tonbridge Road, in Wateringbury, Maidstone. 

Three fire engines were sent to the scene, where crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 

The advice for people in the affected area to close windows and doors, due to smoke coming from the incident, is no longer in place.

No casualties have been reported and the cause is not yet known.
