Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car alight in Maidstone Road, in Rainham, Gillingham.
One fire engine attended and crews wore breathing apparatus while using hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
No casualties were reported and it's believed the fire started accidentally.
