Rescue operations at the scene of a light aircraft crash on Common Road in Chatham have now been completed.

Firefighters and the technical rescue team worked alongside partner agencies to gain access to the plane, and bring two people to safety. No injuries were reported at the scene, and they were passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service remains at the scene of a light aircraft crash on Common Road in Chatham.

Firefighters and the technical rescue team are working alongside partner agencies to ensure two people inside the plane are brought to safety.

No casualty injuries have been reported.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently at the scene of a light aircraft crash on Common Road in Chatham.

Two fire engines, an all-terrain-vehicle, KFRS' rope rescue, and technical rescue team has been sent to the scene.

Crews are working alongside partner agencies to rescue two people from the aircraft.
