Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a truck alight on the A228 Sundridge Hill in Cuxton, Rochester.
Two fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reel jets.
No injuries have been reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
