Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a waste vehicle alight in Snodhurst Avenue, Chatham.
Two fire engines and the technical rescue unit attended the scene, where crews used specialist cutting tools to reach the fire and extinguished the flames using main jets and a fog spike.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the of the fire is not yet known.
