Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a lorry cab alight on the M20 slip road for Junction 3 of the M25, near Swanley.
Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to the scene, and crews wore breathing apparatus while using main and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, before damping down any remaining hot spots and making the scene safe.
No casualties have been reported and the cause is not yet known.
