Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a coach fire on the M2, coast-bound, between junction 5 (Sittingbourne) and junction 6 (Faversham).
Five fire engines and bulk water carrier attended, and all passengers had been evacuated upon arrival. Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used a foam jet and hose reel jets to tackle the fire. Kent Police also attended.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is unknown, but is believed to be accidental.
