Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car alight on the A299 Canterbury Road East, in Ramsgate.
One fire engine attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not known.
