Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a flat in London Road, Tunbridge Wells.
Seven fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene, where crews wearing breathing apparatus have used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, before checking for any remaining hotspots.
No injuries have been reported, and residents are being supported by the building management company.
The cause is not yet known.
