Welcome to the Haircare Network - thank you for visiting

Our main aim is to save lives, reduce risk and be there when people need us. By signing up to the Haircare Network, you can help us to provide your clients with a little extra care.

If you’ve registered already – thank you. Your help really will make a difference.

What is the Haircare Network?

Its a network of hair professionals both salon, barbers and mobile based who will be working with KFRS to spread the word about our free home safety visits to those who need our services the most.

What makes you our ideal partner?

Having your hair done is often a time when your clients get the opportunity to sit and enjoy a chat without the distractions of every day life and they may be more willing to discuss challenges and concerns about home safety and their health.

You really do know your customers so are perfectly placed to ask a few key questions on our behalf that could help keep your clients safer in their homes. Your help could make a real impact on their wellbeing and ultimately help save their life!

Do you:

  • Have older clients or people with disabilities?

  • Find yourself worrying about clients who seem vulnerable and alone?

  • Have clients who are about to have a baby or have children under the age of 5?

Our expert home safety team can visit them in their homes and provide vital safety advice and fit free smoke alarms. We also offer a range of special safety devices such as smoke alarms for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

If you’ve already signed up you will receive:

  • An email confirming your registration

  • A visit from us early in 2016 so that we can talk you through how it will work

  • Promotional material so that your clients and the local community know you are part of our Haircare Network

  • Freepost cards for your customers to complete and return to us

  • On-going support from us

We can also provide the Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends training for you/your staff. This initiative aims to change people’s perceptions of dementia and the way we act and talk, also the signs to look out for and how you can turn that understanding into action for your clients.

If you haven’t signed up please consider joining us - you'll be helping make a difference to your local community.
