Man cut free following crash involving lorry and car in Medway
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Wainscott Bypass in Wainscott to a crash involving a lorry and car where the driver of the car, a man in his early 50s, was left trapped by his injuries. Crews used rescue cutting gear to remove the roof of the car, to gain access to him. Firefighters worked with SECAmb paramedics to assess the man before removing and transferring him to the ambulance, before he was taken to hospital. Crews made the scene safe.
