Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Incident
Woman freed after M20 crash
Incident details
Firefighters were called to help release a woman who was trapped in a car following a crash on the coast-bound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 4 and 5. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to create space to free the woman, who was passed into the care of SECAmb. Kent Police and Highways England also attended the scene.
