Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Fire at Drelict building in Cliftonville
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire at a three-storey derelict building in Edgar Road, Cliftonville formerly used as a care home. Four fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished a fire on the second floor of the property. Crews also carried out a search of the premises. There were no reported casualties and the incident was reduced to three fire engines just after 4pm, while crews remain on the scene damping down hotspots. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
