Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Crockenhill road crash
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a road crash shortly after 7.30pm in Crockenhill Lane, near Swanley. Firefighters arrived to find a car on its side with an elderly lady who was unable to get out. 
 
After stabilising the vehicle, crews gained accessed to the casualty through the rear boot door. They placed her onto a spinal longboard and into the care of the ambulance service. 
 
Firefighters made the scene safe, righted the vehicle on to four wheels and moved it to one side to enable traffic, which had built up in the narrow lane, to pass.
