Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Rainham lounge fire
Incident details
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a three-storey house in Lonsdale Drive, Rainham at around 11.10am. Two fire were sent and crews wearing breathing apparatus went into the house and used a hose reel jet to put the fire out. Smoke and fumes was cleared from the property by a special fan and firefighters spent approximately 30 minutes damping down and cutting away.
