Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Ramsgate basement fire
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in the basement of four-storey building used as a restaurant and flats in Hardres Street, Ramsgate. Two fire engines attended. A number of people were treated for smoke inhalation and passed in the care of SECAmb. Kent Police was also in attendance. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
