Fire in bedroom - Broadstairs
Incident details
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have tackled a fire in the bedroom of a property in Grange Way, Broadstairs, using a high-pressure hose reel jet. Crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke and fumes from the premises. 
 
One person has been treated by paramedics for the effects of breathing in smoke and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The cause of the fire is not known.
