Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Small electrical fire at flats in Gravesend
Incident details
Firefighters were called to flats in Homemead Close, Gravesend after a resident was alerted to the smoke in the communal area of the premises. Crews discovered a small fire in an electrical cupboard, which had caused wiring to melt. The incident was handed over to UK Power, after fire crews had used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread. There were no reported injuries.
