Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

House fire in Maidstone
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire at a two-storey house in Bower Lane, Maidstone. Three fire engines attended, as well as Kent Police and SECAmb. Crews used main jets and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze. Crews wearing breathing apparatus carried out a full search of the property, and all occupants were accounted for. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
