Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Incident
A28 road crash between Thanet and Canterbury
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a road crash involving a car and a van on the A28 between Sarre and Grove Ferry. 
 
Two fire engines attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, Kent Police and the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. 
 
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car. One man was released into the care of the ambulance service and taken to hospital via air ambulance. Two further male casualties were also assessed.
