Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Road crash on A253 Sarre
Incident details
Firefighters are attending a two vehicle crash on the A253 Sarre, Birchington. Crews were alerted just before 10am and Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service are also at the scene. 
 
Fire crews removed the roof of one of the vehicles to release an elderly man who has been handed into the care of the ambulance service.
