Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Incident
A2 road crash, Singlewell
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a road crash on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near the Inn on the Lake, Singlewell (Gravesend). It is believed that five vehicles are involved in the collision but that one person is trapped. 
 
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the man and pass him into the care of the ambulance service. 
 
Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service are also at the scene.
