Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Two-car crash - Canterbury
Incident details
Firefighters were called to reports that two cars had crashed near Milton Manor Roundabout on the A28 outside Canterbury. 
 
One vehicle was found with five people inside, suffering minor injuries - they were passed to the care of the ambulance service. The second vehicle had left the road and ended up down an embankment towards the River Stour. 
 
Crews in drysuits searched the riverbank along with officers from Kent Police. One person was discovered nearby and duty of care was passed to the police.
