Man treated for smoke inhalation after microwave fire near Canterbury
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was mobilised to a small fire involving a microwave in the kitchen of a property in St Vincents Close in Littlebourne near Canterbury. Although the fire was out when the crews arrived the property was smoke logged and an occupant, a man in his 50s, was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke. He was given oxygen by the firefighters and placed in the care of paramedics. Crews ventilated the property of smoke. The
