Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Folkestone collapsed building
Incident details
KFRS crews were called to an incident in Lynwood, Folkestone.  Part of the first floor of a building under construction had collapsed and a man had fallen onto the ground floor.  Crews provided immediate first aid to stabilise the casualty before assisting ambulance crew to move him.  They then remained to fit struts to support the unstable part of the building after liaising with local building control officers.
