Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Roof fire in Leeds
Incident details
Fire crews were called to a fire in the roof of a single-storey industrial unit in Caring Road, near Leeds, Kent. Crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using a hose reel and a fog spike, which sprayed a fine mist into the roof cavity to cool and contain the fire. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire had not spread. There were no casualties. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
