Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Chatham fire
Incident details
KFRS was mobilised to a fire in a property in Sultan Road, Chatham. Firefighters using breathing apparatus entered the property and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.  Sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene and Kent Police have confirmed that his next of kin have been informed.
