Woman released from car following crash - Higham near Rochester
Incident details
Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle having left the carriageway on the A289 Hasted Road in Higham, near Rochester, ending its journey halfway up a wooded embankment. 
 
Working closely with paramedics, crews stabilised the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue equipment to create space for the female casualty to be assessed, treated and removed to a waiting ambulance.
