Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Flat fire in Sevenoaks
Incident details
KFRS crews have attended a fire in a flat in Camden Road, Sevenoaks. Crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, fog spikes (which use a super fine mist to prevent fire spread) and positive pressure ventilation fans (to clear smoke). The fire is now out and crews remained at the scene to assist with salvage, checking for hot spots and making the scene safe. There were no reported injuries and the flat suffered serious fire damage whilst the rest of the building suffered extensive water and smoke damage. The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage.
