Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including KeMozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone ="tracking[default||]" href="http://www.secamb.nhs.uk/">South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Smarden tumble dryer fire
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a tumble dryer fire in Smarden. The 999 call was received just before 4pm and two fire engines were quickly on the scene. The fire was located on the first floor of a two-storey building and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and special fan to extinguish the fire.
