Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Incident
Canterbury chimney fire
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a chimney alight at a house in Vauxhall Avenue, Canterbury. Crews used chimney gear to tackle to blaze and a height vehicle was also used to enable crews access to the top of the chimney stack. They checked for fire spread using a thermal imaging camera. There were no reported casualties.
