Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including KeMozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone ="tracking[default||]" href="http://www.secamb.nhs.uk/">South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Woman cut free from car crash near Folkestone
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a crash involving two cars and two vans on the Alkham Valley Road near Folkestone. On arrival crews found a woman trapped from her injuries in one of the cars. Using hydraulic cutting gear the firefighters removed the roof of the car to gain access to the woman. They worked with paramedics to remove her from the car and transfer her to an ambulance, where she was placed in the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
