Oven fire in Eccles
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire in the kitchen of a house in Alma Road, Eccles, after occupants spotted flames coming out of the rear of an oven. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault. 
 
Crews are reminding residents of the importance of having working smoke alarms fitted on each floor of your home to provide early warning in the event of such a fire.
