Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service on a regular basis.

Chatham flat fire
Incident details
Firefighters attended a fire in a second floor flat in Shipwrights Avenue at around 6.45pm. Crews in breathing apparatus used a high-pressure hose reel jet and a special fan to put the fire out. 
 
There were no reports of any casualties.
